Welcome to my website
My name is Brian and I have an allotment in Walton on Naze, Essex, which is on the east coast, about 10 miles from Harwich.
I belong to the "Walton and District Allotment Association Ltd There are two sites which in total contain 134 x 10 rod plots. I cultivate two of them.
Walton and District Allotment Association Ltd is rather unique as the members are shareholders, and in effect own the land they cultivate.
Aims of the website:
- A diary, updated on Mondays containing the activities that have taken place on my allotment through the previous week.
- A recipe using vegetables and or fruit that are in season at the time
- Planting plans for the season
- A Podcast covering general gardening topics
- Tips and tricks appropriate for the season
